worst movie ever?

the movie XXX State of the Union, is AWFUL!!! AWFUL ACTING, AWFUL PLOT, AWFUL SCRIPT, AWFUL ACTION, and in the end the ghetto boys save America??? i mean come on. this ranks up there with ghosts of mars, contact, and eyes wide shut. i would rather have another colonoscopy than watch this stinker again. and VT plays WVU this weekend. please God let us win!!

big game this weekend

yeah virginia tech has a big game this weekend with georgia tech. other than that, i got nothing going on. boring week, Last nights episode of Lost was AMAZING! the show "invasion" that aired after lost was kinda lame, same ol invasion of the body snatchers idea, real creative. yeah thats about it. Oh and for all you Mac haters out there i just got a BRAND NEW G5 with 2 flat panel monitors and it is such a awesome system. so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

What A Weekend!

What an amazing weekend!!! Ben Mauldin came down this weekend for the first ever sun/sand/and football weekend and it was a total success. Stacey had to go to a wedding in Louisville Kentucky so it was a bachelor weekend and much fun was had. Friday night wasnt too much action since Ben didnt get in til late but we still ate some of the best Cuban food in town, but Saturday is when the fun began, we hit dunkin donuts for some fuel and then we hit the beach, Ben was scoping out the 2 fine ladies that were laying out behind us all while coming close to a nice sunburn. all morning was spent on the beach until around noon then it was college football baby! ohhhh and what a saturday for football, numerous sayings were created, lots of near panic plays were endured through and we have decided that we are two of the best one liner analysts that there are. where do i even begin, notre dame lost THANK GOD! UCLA (pronounced from here on out as you-kla) destroyed Chokelahoma HA HA HA HA HA, then we got to watch our teams Auburn and Virginia Tech destroy 2 weak teams, hey everyone has to play a weak team every now and then. then we watched charlie whitehurst blame all his recievers for not catching all of his bad passes. especially the one where he missed the guy that was 20 yards wide open. so by this time we felt like we were growing on the furniture so we clean up and head to city place to the sports theater to watch the seminoles and BC and the florida and tennessee games, AND the oakland vs red socks game. great wings and great steaks were had, and Ben got to see a lot more of the Palm Beach eye candy. Well sunday was a different story, everything sunday morning at church that could have gone wrong went wrong and ben got to wittness me in damage control mode again! i wont really get into all the details here. then on to the mall and the Apple store for some ipod accessories while i continue to point out the hoochie girls for ben to hit on only to find out about 90% of them were under the age of 18. sorry ben i wasnt deliberatley trying to put you in jail. but the weekend had to come to a close, ben left and i went to the airport to pick up my baby!

Colonoscopy = All Clear

well i got the all clear this morning after my brief procedure. it was not as bad as i thought it was going to be. the worst part was that nasty stuff that i had to dring the day before and the IV needle. other than that i dont remember a thing. the dr said all he found was 1 small pollop and he removed it but everything else was ok. i asked them if they video taped it and they said no. and when i was in recovery i farted really loud on the nurse and i looked at her and said "that was a pretty good one wasnt it" she just smiled and said "it sure was". needless to say i wasnt in a sound state of mind. but i guess i am ok, all clear and healthy thank God. oh and since i have spend so much time in the bathroom and sampled numerous brands of TP i have come to the scientific conclusion that White Cloud is the best toilet paper out there, i prefer it to Charmin 2 - 1. thanks for all of your prayers!

I Got a Promotion!

yes everyone you are now reading the words of the new Media Ministry Director/Tv Show Producer at Trinity. I was offered the position early last week and i took the week to think, pray, and talk it over with Stacey and my family and i have decided to accept the position, not that i wasnt not going to take it, i just didnt want to sound too excited in the meeting. it will be not too much more work just more responsibility, and i know me and luper used to do all we could to not have responsibility but unfortunatley i now have A LOT of it! i have to answer directly to the elders of the church now and i have a staff below me so i can delegate baby! so you guys please pray that i dont screw this up! love ya

What A Weekend!

WOW what a weekend! College football has started and there were quite a few upsets, but ill get to that in a min. me and stacey drove to virginia this weekend to see my family and go to my 10 yr reunion. the family was AWESOME! we had so much fun, we went bowling and laughed and laughed and laughed, i lost the official mario kart tournament by 2 points and Seth gets the crown until Thanksgiving when we race again. the reunion was ok nothing too big there, i found out who was in jail, who was gay, who died, who is raising whos kids, all the juicy stuff. the drive was about 13 hours from west palm to rocky gap and the highest i paid for gas was $3.09 and that was the only time i paid over $3. Thank God for HONDA!

And now for College football: i want to retract my statement about UGA losing to Boisie State. Im glad UGA won because the embarassment they put on Boisie should shut up those mediocre teams out west who think they can compete with the big universities on the east coast and since UGA was the only hard team they play, that loss probably kicked them out of any bowl chance they had. since boisie state doesnt play any other hard teams they should win the rest of them so thank you UGA for beating them, because we all know UGA will lose to florida, Tennessee, and Auburn and hopefully USC. I was SHOCKED to see Georgia Tech beat Auburn but in a way that helps VT out because we have to play GT later this season, everyone knows Clemson got lucky, they wont be able to field goal their way to wins all season. im glad steve spurrier got a win on thursday night and HOW ABOUT THEM SOONERS! HA HA HA HA HA can you spell OVER RATED?? and now for my Hokies! other than the fact that we need to work on just about everything we do, defense, offense, special teams, blocking, tackling, and rushing north to south not east to west. i am so glad we got out of raliegh with a win, they stole one last year it was our turn to steal one this year. We handled the #1 defense in the nation pretty well considering it was our first game of the season and we did it with a new QB. not too many teams can do that. I DO NOT LIKE INSTANT REPLAY IN COLLEGE BALL! Just my ramblings.

College Football BABY!

THANK GOD college football starts tonight! ok so all these polls and predictions are pissing me off. first of all there is no way in HELL that Miami should be ranked ahead of Virginia Tech. the foxsports poll has miami at 4th and Tech at 10th!!! whats up with that, what are these "experts" looking at. miami has no game breakers, no big players, and very few returning starters, plus they have to play us in Blacksburg! again this is typical of all polls that we get no respect we didnt last year and we made everyone eat their words and i guess we will have to do the same again this year, if Marcus Vick plays as he is capable of playing and we can get out of NC State with a win then Rose Bowl bound we are. thats right you heard it here first. so i guess we will all see by the end of November if I am right or not. I am so excited about this season all around, Spurrier at USC, rivalries and everything!!! YES!!! I am cheering for of course my Hokies, the other ACC teams (i need them to go undefeated until we play them and then after we play them to win out, its a ranking thing some of you girls wont understand, then the Gamecocks, then and then whoever is playing against UGA. i hope boise state beats UGA then loses all their other games, and i hope Notre Dame goes winless too. Stacey and me are going to Virginia this weekend for my 10 year high school reunion which shouldnt be too crowded since i think 1/2 of my class is in jail so its not too big of a deal. then Sunday night on ESPN2 VA Tech vs. NC State.
