Sun Poisoning

well folks in the quest to achieve the perfect south florida tan i have contracted sun poisoning. i was trying to get just a little bit darker so i can beat Candice once again on the best summer tan but i went just a tad overboard. i was actually on the phone with beaver just chatting away for about 30 min then i went in to go pee and when i came back out i fell asleep on my chair by the pool for about a hour. now ordinarily this would be no big deal but the sun and uv rays are stronger here than they are in georgia and SC. so i look like i have chicken pox again but they dont itch too bad, and stacey is mad at me for staying out that long and now i am forbidden to go near the pool for about 2 weeks and that means no going to the beach either, THIS SUCKS!!! so i guess ill be seeing a lot of movies for the next few weeks. so i concede the summer tan contest to you Candice, congratulations on your first summer tan victory.

the Half-Blood Prince

ok so my family was down here in sunny God forsaken florida to visit last week so thats why i havent been posting. and i just want to say that i have the best family in the world. friday night at midnight me and seth went to barnes and nobel to get my pre-ordered copy of Harry Potter! and can i say that the freaks were out in full strength. we laughed at people and laughed at people all night long. it was classic, we saw a guy that looked like Rob zombie according to seth and then we almost collided with a elvis impersonator, evidently the king likes harry potter as well. they were showing the last movie on a lot of tv's they had throughout the store so me and seth were sitting there killing time waiting and waiting until i went to get in line and left seth reading MAXIM while sitting beside some 4 year old kid dressed like Harry. i was one of the fortunate who pre-ordered 4 months in advance so i was like 10th in line and i was out the door by 12:05 not too bad considering there were close to 400 people in line. and i have already read the book, IT IS AWESOME!!! i read it in 2 days and now i am going to have to wait 2 YEARS for the next one!! oh well. so thats what i have been doing. later

MID-SUMMER MOVIE REPORT

ok so since its hot as hell here in florida about the only thing to do is watch movies to try to beat the heat, so here is how i rank the summer movies that i have seen so far. these are based on a scale of 1 - 10

1. Star Wars Episode 3 - 9.5
2. Batman Begins - 8.7
3. War of the Worlds - 8.0
4. Mr. and Mrs Smith - 7.5
5. House of Wax - 6.0
6. Madagascar - 2.0

Only Star Wars and Batman have been worthy of watching again. Hollywood isnt blowing my skirt up much at all so far this summer. However i am looking forward to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Dukes of Hazzard.
